About the Peach County Edition

This blog is an extension of my print column, “Out of my Mind,” which appears weekly in The Leader-Tribune, the community newspaper and legal organ of Peach County, Ga.  Since the paper publishes only once a week, on Wednesdays, I get only one opportunity a week to say something about significant developments in and around Peach County and the state of Georgia.  Due to the publishing schedule, my column often winds up referring to events that are over a week old by the time people read it.  In order to say more, and in a more timely manner, I have established this blog.

I have been running “Out of my Mind Blog” for several weeks now, and I’ve found it necessary to start a separate “Peach County Edition” to make it easier for readers to find posts about Peach County.  If you’re interested in the broader topics of the original blog, please click here.

As with the print edition, I encourage comments, and in particular disagreement.  Just a few pointers: I moderate every comment on this blog, which means nothing gets in unless I first review it and approve it.  Anonymous comments, or those that defame individuals or make unsubstantiated allegations, or that are simply off topic, will be deleted.  I have no problem with strong disagreement, but let’s keep it civil and decent.

That being said, have at it.  Let’s bring Peach County further into the digital age.
